Report a Repair

During your tenancy with Salix Living, you may need to report a repair at your property. In the unfortunate event of this occurring, there are several ways you can get in touch with us to let us know about the issue so we can get to work on resolving it.


Ways to report a repair


By Telephone
You can report a repair or fault at your property over the phone by calling the Salix Living office on Freephone 0800 218 2000 and speaking to a member of our team. Our call centre is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so there will always be someone available to take your call.

By Email
It is possible to report a new repair by sending an email to salix.living@salixhomes.org. In order to understand the issue as clearly as possible, we request that you provide a full description of the problem, plus photographs if necessary. This will help us to confirm the urgency of the repair that is required.

In Person
If you are based locally, you may wish to report a repair in person by simply calling into Diamond House and speaking to a member of our team.


What happens next?


Salix Homes has a system for prioritising different types of repair work depending on the severity of the repair. This has been put in place to make sure that the most urgent repairs are completed in the shortest time. Emergency repairs are those that pose a danger to you or others or where your home may be damaged if action isn’t immediately taken to resolve the problem.

Following clarification as to the urgency of the repair you have reported, we will get in touch via your preferred method of communication with a date for the repair to be completed. If this proposed date is not suitable, please contact us to rearrange.
